Education Initiative: Lawrence and Patricia are passionate about education and saw that many talented students often lacked the financial resources to go to college. Lawrence was also particularly keen on developing and honing technical skills needed by trained professionals so they could serve in better positions within their organizations. The LPC scholarships provide funding to selected candidates who plan intend to attend a technical program, or a leading college or university, who demonstrate leadership qualities and who have given back to the community through community service.

For many students, the rising cost of college books is a barrier to success. By lightening the load, we empower students to focus on learning—not struggling to afford it.
Blanket Drive: LPC Foundation Winter Blanket Drive
Warming Bodies. Restoring Dignity.
Each winter, The Lawrence and Patricia Carrier Foundation organizes a local blanket drive to bring warmth, comfort, and compassion to those experiencing homelessness in our communities. As temperatures drop, so does the safety and well-being of countless individuals who sleep without shelter or adequate protection.
Our team hand-delivers new blankets to shelters, street corners, and transitional housing locations—offering not just warmth, but a moment of hope, humanity, and dignity.
🎁 What We Provide:
Brand new fleece and thermal blankets
Warm words, prayer, and resource information
Connection and conversation—because we believe everyone deserves to be seen and cared for
🤝 How You Can Help:
Donate $20 to sponsor a blanket
Organize a blanket collection at your church, school, or office
Volunteer to distribute with us during our December outreach
💬 Why It Matters:
“Some people think of blankets as just fabric. But when you’re sleeping outside, a blanket becomes your home. Your shield. Your comfort. We want to remind people that they matter—and that someone cares.”
— Patricia Carrier, Founder
Help us wrap Houston in love this winter—one blanket at a time.
Zimbabwae Hunger Drive: LPC Foundation: South Africa Mission & Bathroom Dignity Project
In a recent mission to South Africa, Patricia Carrier and the LPC Foundation established a humanitarian partnership with the Mkiva Humanitarian Foundation—expanding LPC’s reach into Zimbabwe and Uganda. Together, they provided food and clothing relief to families in urgent need, reinforcing the Foundation’s global commitment to service, compassion, and impact.
This journey marked the launch of LPC’s most ambitious initiative to date: the Bathroom Dignity Project—a global campaign to build fully equipped, safe, and private communal bathrooms for young African women and girls in remote regions. These facilities aim to restore dignity, improve school attendance, and protect the health and safety of girls who too often face unsafe or unhygienic conditions.
Through faith, partnership, and purpose, the LPC Foundation is transforming lives—one community at a time.
