The Lawrence and Patricia Carrier Foundation is a Houston-based Not-For-Profit organization dedicated to “Serving God by Serving Others”. The Foundation was created to honor the memory of Lawrence Lee Carrier who passed away suddenly in 2020 as well as to merge Patricia and Lawrence’s dreams that young children in Africa and other countries have access to church and schools. The Lawrence and Patricia Carrier Foundation has partnered with local and international stakeholders to plant churches and schools. In addition, the Foundation has endowed two named scholarships for a graduating Senior at the Guy M. Sconzo Early College High School; A named endowment at Lee College will award one student a year with a Tuition and Book scholarship in perpetuity; Three named endowments at Texas Southern University to benefit a student in the Social Work Program; The College of Sciences, Engineering &Technology programs and a General Funds Scholarship; and Two named scholarships at The Columbia University School of Social Work Program.
The LPC Foundation provides financial assistance to those who want to attend college, assists those in need in the Houston community, endows academic and book scholarships; builds churches, and ensures our legacy of giving continues.
The LPC Foundation joins hands with local and global partners to establish churches and schools in underserved regions of Tanzania, Africa, India, and the Philippines.
